Maillist Duplicates Remover is a powerful contact list tool which helps you remove both duplicate email addresses and malformed email addresses from your mailing list, so you have a clean list with only unique email addresses. You may also just sort your mailing list in alphabetical order without removing any addresses. It runs very fast, and the wizard-driven interface makes the process almost childishly easy!

Launching the Program

The first step in getting started with Maillist Duplicates Remover is to install and launch it. During the installation process, the installation program will create a shortcut to launch Maillist Duplicates Remover for you. Once installed you can start the application by going to Start -> Programs -> Maillist Duplicates Remover -> Maillist Duplicates Remover.

And it will display the Welcome window,



To start the process, please click the Next button.

Mailing List Selection

Please click the "Select Mailing List" to specify the mailing list which you wish to remove duplicates from. At this time, Maillist Duplicates Remover supports plain text (*.TXT) and CSV (*.CSV) mailing lists delimited by commas, tabs, semicolons, etc.

Please note, the first line of your mailing list file should contain header information/field names.

Once you've selected the mailing list file, please choose the delimiter character and which column/field contains the email addresses, then click the "Next" button.

Output Setting

If you want to clean the list and save the results to the existing file, make sure that "the same mailing list file" option is selected; To clean the list and save the results to a new file, select the "new mailing list file specified below" option and click the Save as button to specify the new mailing list file name.

You may also just sort your mailing list in alphabetical order without removing any addresses by checking the "Just sort the list" box.

When you are ready to clean the list, click on the "Finish" button. Please be patient while the program cleans your contact list.
